The Games Office
Strategy Session

A focused session to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and what to do next.

What This Is

If you’re building a game studio and something doesn’t seem quite make sense or isn't coming together, this session helps you understand where your plan, risks, and funding are most likely to run into trouble before you commit further time and money.

It’s designed for founders already in motion who need clarity on what works, what doesn’t and whether to continue, change direction, or stop.

Most teams stall because early assumptions don't quite hold up - about team, scope, funding, or market.

This session brings those assumptions into the open and identifies where they start to come apart.

Paid session (£450). By application.

What We Cover

A focused review of how your plan holds up:

• Your studio thesis
What must be true for this to work.

• Where things might break
And what's driving that risk.

• Funding reality
What would need to happen for your plan to be viable.

• Next 90 days
What needs to be tested before committing further.

Without this, teams often commit time and money before the core assumptions have been tested.

How It works

• 60–90 minute session

• Minimal prep (short intake form)

Direct, candid discussion focused on where things are most likely to run into trouble

• Follow-up summary of key points

• Optional follow-up to see how things have progressed

No slides required. No pitch needed.

Who This Is For

• Founders who have started but something doesn't quite hold up

• Teams where the plan, funding or direction is under strain

• Developers in motion who need to understand what works and what won't work

Who It's Not For

• Studios already in full production

• Teams looking for ongoing advisory

• Teams looking for pitch feedback for investor meetings

This is not ongoing support or production advisory.

Outcome

You leave with:

• A clearer view of whether your plan holds together

• A map of your key risks

• A clear view of what needs to be tested next

In some cases, the right outcome is changing direction or stopping.
